Becoming a Teacher: From Pedagogy to Praxis

Abstract

This article illustrates how the staff of a teaching excellence program at one university analyzed the research on newfaculty needs and designed a program to support newly hired, tenure-line faculty in improving their teaching. Included are the thoughts of faculty who participated in the program and some recommendations for future analysis.
