Abstract

The wide applicability and range of both student and faculty learning community models described in this issue of the Learning Communities Journal provide rich opportunities for learning and for solutions to challenges and opportunities for faculty, students, and institutions in higher education. The five articles in this issue provide examples of some of the approaches that have been adopted and adapted, and the outcomes that have been produced.
