Abstract

The authors capture the autobiographical teaching and learning experiences outside of the classroom of two graduate students and a professor. They explore their individual experiences working collaboratively on a research project. They discuss their fears, assumptions, growth, and learning as well. Moreover, the authors examine, through personal narratives, the issues of outsider research, motivations for doing research, and the politics behind the selection of a research topic.
